Solstice Epiphany...

On the excruciatingly longer than normal ride to work this morning, I had time to reflect. This Father's Day weekend was one of those where all life's lanes seem to intersect...right down to the appropriateness of Owl's Head being in the news...and breed an epiphany one should recognize and use as a guide moving forward. True consideration is action, not lip service...the love in caring for someone is genuinely thinking of their concerns and challenges on a level as important to you as your own, if not even moreso, regardless of what you may be busy doing. In the end, the concept of "LOVE", when not tethered to certain earthbound realities and definables, is as useless as that helium-filled balloon that just escaped that little girl's hand....
